Leading a four day workshop on 'An introduction to community rhythm circles' for music teachers, and groups of people with special needs from around Europe. For booking and info click here.


Much of the rest of the time this month and next will be spent tutoring Community Music on the BA Community Arts course at Strathclyde University in Glasgow.

September 2007

(Wednesdays until December)
Commencing a 15 week music project in conjunction with Dykebar Psychiatric Hospital, Paisley. Working across acute, IPCU, and geriatric psychiatric wards to form a community drumming group.

15th September
Providing rhythm workshops for the Afasic Scotland parents' event, Glasgow.

16th - 21st September
Off to skye with the Paragon ensembles' community education team, running a project at the Tigh na Drochaid Adult Resource Centre in Portree.

August 2007

4th - 6th August
'Rhythm and Pews' workshops at Westside Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, NJ

7th - 10th August
Contributing to the Wild Goose resource group's 'The Greatness of the Small' week on music and worship, Iona.

11th - 17th August
Contributing to the youth interfaith week at the Macleod Centre, Iona.

23rd August
Rhythmic worship as part of 'Rest for your Soul' at the Edinburgh Festival fringe, in conjunction with St. Patrick's church, Cowgate.

24th - 27th August
Fun and games, drums, worship and song with the Iona Community at the Greenbelt Festival, Cheltenham.
